Six Secrets to Arriving On Time
Today we have a special surprise! Angela Esnouf from Creating Order from Chaos (don’t you just love that business name??) is sharing with us her six secrets to arriving on time. I think we are all calmer and more in control if we are On Time for everything. It’s when we start to make being a few minutes (or more) late a habit that things start to really degenerate into chaos in our busy days.

Value your time and those of others in your life.
Be clear about what time you need to leave to get where to your destination. Add a little extra as a buffer in case something goes wrong.
If you give someone else a ride, and they constantly make you wait – leave without them (as long as they’re old enough to look after themselves). They’ll soon get the message.
Keep a clock in your bathroom. You can’t be on time if you don’t know what the time is. And while you’re at it, check that all clocks in your home are set to the right time. That old trick of setting them fast doesn’t fool anyone.
Plan ahead. Check the night before that everything you need to take is ready – your clothes are picked out and ironed, papers are prepared, lunch ingredients are stocked up, phone is charged, keys are where they should be.
If all else fails, set your alarm 15 minutes earlier. A stress-free start to the day is priceless.
Now you have no need for all those excuses for why you were late (again!).
