We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
- Aristotle
As we start our week - the last week of winter - I like the reminder that we are what we repeatedly do. This morning, it resonates in my soul - telling me to watch what I spend my time on, how I think, and how I act.
Each moment I am trading my life for each little action, each and every thought.
When I get so wrapped up in the worries, in the busyness, in the never-ending to-do list, I lose a part of me. And I am not prepared to do that any more. If I am what I repeatedly do (and think) then if I think chaos, I am chaos.
Therefore, this week, I am thinking calm, order and quiet. A peaceful, easy existence, where everything that must get done, gets done with the minimum of fuss and bother.
What is your week going to tell you about who you are?
