Never judge on appearance… or… Susan Boyle's Got Talent!

April 16th, 2009 · 2 Comments

Oh boy. I have tears in my eyes and goosebumps on my goosebumps.

I may be the last person on the planet to see this, but if you haven’t yet seen this wonderfully dowdy lady from a village in UK blow Simon Cowell’s mind (and change the mind of all those rolling their eyes and sniggering as she first appeared on stage) you need to watch it. Now.

Go watch… I’ll wait…

You’re back? Great…

What a miracle for Susan Boyle. No matter what happens now, she truly is a star. Her dream has come true. She has the voice of an angel.

What dream are you chasing? There really is hope, you know…

It’s amazing isn’t it? I was in floods of tears when I watched it yesterday. I think it was partly the total confidence she had when she sang. And watching someone who was directly plugged into the Source. Amazing.

Very definitely amazing, Joanna! I’ve been in floods of tears myself as I showed this to my husband and each of my children – I seemed to get more and more emotional every time I watch it!

Her confidence is mind-blowing, even with the audience going mad she didn’t miss a note… but you’re right, she’s just so there in her own skin, isn’t she? That plugged-in-ness is definitely something to aspire to.
